Love the Rum River Dam! Great park located right there for a picnic or walking, the dam get HIGH in the spring, check it out - its worth it, hen come back at the end of summer... quite the difference. Docks for tying up the boat and grabbing a meal at one of the many Anoka restaurants!

We are regulars at the custard shop in town, but had to check out the creamery since the custard isn't available this summer due to fire.

Very impressed with this shop! Clean, lots of seating, self serve water station... Super great staff, and ice cream and sorbet with rotating flavors! The passion fruit sorbet rocked my world! Real passion fruit seeds and great flavor - very happy to have the dairy free option! We will be making this a regular stop every summer, in addition to the custard 😀

Super cool experience! The tower is great and full of history!

The bar at the top has great service and fun drinks. The bahn mi sandwich isn't what you might expect though. It's like 2 pulled pork sliders with a couple pickled jalapenos on top. Very disappointed in that.

Views are great and on a clear day you might be able to see Rainier!

they have what you need - shot glasses, magnets, tshirts, literally any souvenir you could need while in the area. the name says it all!
