I had many MRIs done in the past but never had such an unprofessional and disgusting attitude from an MRI technician and staff as at Holy Redeemer MRI in Warminster.
I had a problem and was obviously in pain.
The technician did not explain how to communicate with him while performing the MRI, in case I need it. He did not give me time to find a comfortable position. He did not offer to make me more comfortable by putting a pillow under my legs, normally that would be done.
He started the MRI practically instantaneously after rolling me in the machine, without a warning that he is starting and without asking me whether I am comfortable, and if it is OK to start. He just told me that I cannot make any movements and then started the MRI. He was extremely rude!
I was scheduled to do an MRI of the right thigh and right hip. He was not able to finish the thigh MRI properly because I did not have a choice but start moving because of the horrible pain caused by lying too long in an uncomfortable position, being afraid to move. Of course, I was not able to continue with the MRI of the hip – that was never done.
This, unprofessionally done, half-finished MRI caused tremendous pain in my thigh, worsening my condition to an unacceptable level. Months later I still suffer as a result of this horribly performed MRI.
I was instructed to come back to the facility in a few days to get the results, but the woman, clerk, refused to give me the results, saying that my doctor would provide me with the results. I had to forcefully insist until she, finally, gave me the results of this half-finished MRI.
