An old and fabulous big museum that is celebrating its 150th anniversary 🥳
It is located in the old part of Stockholm, Djurgården, which is near many interesting places such as the Vasa Museum, Viking Museum, the ABBA Museum, Skansen, etc. You will have a great experience there if you are interested in Swedish traditions and holidays.
Nordiska Museet is a great place regarding Nordic history, culture, and people's lives in the past. Only I didn't understand the relevance of the British fashion part to this museum 🤔
Also, they are working on a new exhibition about 'People in the North', which is located on the 4th floor and will be opened in February 2024. This exhibition is about the Nordic countries' life over 500 years 👍
Since I bought the tickets with my Kulturarvskortet discount, I haven't had the chance to visit the ARCTIC – While The Ice Melts part, but I heard it is very interesting. I think it's not fair 🙁
Access to the museum is very good with public transportation🚊🚉🚃
Inside the museum, you can find a cafe, a shop, and places to sit down and relax.
The museum has friendly and responsive staff. Sufficient closets to store extra clothes and equipment and clean toilets are other positive points of the museum.
In addition to the explanation boards, which of course could be a little more detailed, you can use a voice assistant to hear explanations about the museum.
I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and cultural day out 😍.

A unique artistic treasure. A huge puzzle.
It is really interesting to see this ship. And the more amazing is when you realize they pull it out after being underwater for 300 years.
We have to thank the brackishness of the Baltic Sea that helped keep this ship safe all these years.
In this museum, there are side exhibitions related to the events and equipment of this ship, which are unique in their kind. Especially the human skeletons left by passengers.
You can use the human guide in English and Swedish, as well as the audio guidance in several languages, although I have not used it and I have no opinion about its quality.
You can find a store with various goods, a restaurant and places to rest and sit in the museum.
Allow at least 3-4 hours to see it in detail. 😊
Have fun! 😍

I think it is the largest indoor shopping centers in Stockholm. It has a fancy and modern design. Also a lot of local and globally known brand stores are there which you can stay and spend some time.
Clean and well organized mall with seats to sit for rest.
There are plenty stores to eat and drink such as Piano, Max burgare, Star box, Persian restaurent, etc. Also you can buy stuff from Ica Kvantum and Hemköp.
The mall is located close Solna train station and you can reach it easily.
