A hidden gem that has been serving excellent traditional cuisine for decades, although it remained relatively unknown to tourists until it received recognition from Michelin. Their noodles are prepared in the traditional way, offering a simple yet authentic taste. One dish that stands out is the 鸿图面 (Egg Soup base with crispy noodles), which is truly unique and not found elsewhere. Additionally, their white sliced chicken surpasses those in Ipoh, making it a must-try. Other dishes like Ying Yong (Stir Fried Rice Noodle & Vermicelli with gravy), egg tarts are equally delightful. What sets this restaurant apart is its beautifully preserved prewar shophouse with a central courtyard, offering a captivating experience for architecture enthusiasts.
Red Dot Design Museum

The Red Dot Museum is a unique exhibition space that showcases a variety of products that have won the prestigious Red Dot award. While the museum displays a significant number of Red Dot awarded products, many of them are presented as 2D displays, with few opportunities to see the actual products up close. This lack of interactivity may be disappointing for some visitors, as the actual products are often displayed behind glass cases, which can be a bit limiting.

Despite this, the museum still offers a fascinating and worthwhile experience, with a wide range of design products on display, from consumer electronics to furniture to kitchen gadgets. Visitors can appreciate the sleek and innovative designs of the products, and gain insight into the design process behind them.

The building itself has a bit of a temporary feel, with its simple, minimalist design and industrial-looking architecture. However, the space is still functional and well-suited for its purpose, with clean and modern interiors that complement the design products on display.
