Chamundi Hill in Mysore is home to the revered goddess Chamundeshwari, also known as Nada Devate. Located at the hilltop, buses are available to the temple with fares of ₹35 for AC and ₹30 for non-AC. The temple is usually crowded on Tuesdays, Fridays, and weekends. Photography is not allowed inside, and the temple is well-secured. Be cautious of monkeys outside, as they may snatch bags or pooja items. After darshan, devotees can partake in prasada from 1:00 to 3:30 PM.

Nanjangud Shiva Temple, located near the Kapila River, is a historic site in Nanjangud. Devotees from various places visit to offer prayers, shave their heads, and bathe in the river, believing it brings blessings. The temple features an ancient architectural design with intricate stone carvings. Lord Shiva resides in the main sanctum, while deities like Nandi, Ganesha, Hanuman, and Sharada Amma are positioned in different corners. Photography is prohibited inside. Prasada is served from 12:30 PM, and the temple closes at 1:00 PM, reopening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Unfortunately, persistent beggars can disturb visitors.
