CityPets 614 has been wonderful for my family for our veterinary and daycare needs.
The location is perfect for where we live, walkable but also plenty of parking.
All of the staff I have interacted with have been friendly, kind, and helpful. They all know my dog and are happy to see him. He gets excited every time we go (maybe because he can’t tell if it’s the vet or daycare lol), but even vet appointments are tolerable because he gets lots of love and treats.
I have always been able to get an appointment in a very reasonable amount of time, and in-office waiting is minimal. They have been very communicative about test results and such, and easy to get a hold of with questions. When my dog goes to daycare, they send pics (sometimes twice a day!) which is so reassuring that he is safe and having fun.
I have to make a special mention of Dr. Chapman. I had a very traumatic experience in November 2022 that resulted in the untimely death of a pet. After some time, I felt that I may be ready to adopt another pet, but I had major concerns about the circumstances that led to that incident and the possibility of such a thing happening again. I called the office and to be honest I was sort of desperate- I didn’t know who I expected to talk to or what I expected them to say, but I didn’t want to go into bringing another pet home blindly. The office person quickly got Dr. Chapman who spoke to me for 15+ minutes. She listened to my concerns, validated my fears, and comforted and counseled me. She took time out of her day to help me understand whether my home was safe for an animal and whether I could’ve done anything differently. Her compassion and thoroughness made me a lifelong customer here.
