We've lived in this area for more then 10 years and have shopped at Ross for many of those years, but our recent experiences have been disappointing. The cashier we've encountered multiple times has been exceptionally rude and grumpy. On one occasion, my daughter was running to grab an item when I was waiting for check out. When it's my turn, I asked the cashier if she could please wait for a minute or two because I saw my daughter was coming back, but she firmly refused, saying, "NO! YOU HAVE TO PAY NOW!".
Today, Sunday 6/30, we checked out at 9:43 PM, and the same lady was just as rude and grumpy, not only to me but also to my daughter. She slammed the boxes and refused to help me check why the same items were different prices and simply said "I don't know. Do you want it?". She had also yelled at my daughter to give her the boxes that were right in front of her.
We did nothing wrong; we were simply shopping, yet we were treated with such hostility. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. We've enjoyed shopping at Ross for years, but this cashier has recently ruined our experience. We hope the management addresses this issue, as no customer deserves to be treated this way.
