The center is used for a variety of activities including summer camps, county activities, and extended day (care for students). Plus seniors activities.

No parking here, but if you live in Shannondale, you can walk to this access point, or get a ride. Consider an Appalachian Trail shuttle. Very easy access to the Appalachian Trail. This former road used to carry US Presidents to the Shannondale resort.

A nice park for soccer practice. Decent playground, too. Easy to access. Shortcuts to/ from the neighborhood. No bathrooms.

The urban forest! Wintertime overlook or Georgetown and the river from Rosslyn in a public park. Nice view.
