Eli Sht

The place is amazing. Medieval castle high above the see, survived in pretty good shape with breathtaking views of the rocks, see and small hazy islands bellow. You can even see Turkey in the distance pretty clearly. We visited in the late afternoon, towards the evening, but not quiet sunset yet and the light was so beautiful. And all of it is totally free. Also, the access road brings you right to the foot of the castle, so no grueling climb in the heat, just 3 minute walk uphill to the entrance. Enjoy!

This is a nice scenic overview of the Patomac River. Be sure not to miss it in a nice weather.
