Very difficult to get an appointment - it’s like this everywhere but my new surgery has more appointments available at least. Never any appointments available from the app which is awful for those who struggle with calls - especially considering the lines are always busy and clearly not enough reception staff to answer the phones.
Before moving I handed in a letter asking for a referral and left them plenty of time to do it before moving to my new surgery. Two months later my referral wasn’t received and so I have to ask my new surgery to complete this for me. I handed the letter to reception and the doctors name was on it, somebody didn’t do their job properly and it’s me who has to deal with the consequences. I now have to wait even longer to be seen as if waiting times weren’t already horrendous.
There is no letter box if you needed to leave them a letter on a weekend which is awful for those who work within the week and don’t have time to pop down to the surgery.
