We int need to hike the thurston-griggs trail but it was closed for the season. Instead we tried this nearby trail. The trail was in great condition. It's well marked and clear of snow.
This is the second Wegmans I visited after the one in NY. It's well laid out and easy to navigate despite its size. Unlike many stores, most checkout counters were manned so paying for our purchase was quick and easy. The fresh produce they had was of superior quality. I intend to return often.
Amongst the best choice for a supermarket. Prices are reasonable and the store stocks a good range of regular groceries.
This lake/garden is quite old but it has been regularly updated. The grounds are clean and adorned with many plants and some sculptures. It makes for a pleasant but brief walk. There are signs indicating local wildlife. We did see a monitor lizard and some birds.
The trail head parking lot is small, perhaps for 6 cars. On a weekday morning it was half full. The trail begins right off the parking lot. Ford the shallow stream and start on the trail proper. Most of the trail is easy. We skipped the saw and took the nose to get a longer hike. There is a short section that was steep but otherwise it's an easy hike. We didn't meet anyone along the trail.
