I went to Caffe Milano once a week in my youth when they occupied the spot which is now Carne on Kloof. There a few places in Cape Town where I can recommend the pastries. This however is one of them, elegant refined and exquisitely balanced instead of sweet. Such a great eclair. I hope to return soon to enjoy the cannoli. If it’s made from sheep milk (which is traditional in Italy but unlikely in South Africa) I will never eat cannoli anywhere else!
