Top class beach… largest freshwater beach in the world. Worth the visait. Go deep in the water for fresh water… coast can be muddy due to crazy number of tourists but all in all a must visit to this place! Worth every penny going from Barrie.

Never miss this gem. Ok so here’s how you go about it. Land on centre island. Go for the Jack Layton Terminal and get a buggy ferry for free if you are cheap. Honk-honk! Or go for a water taxi you will find anywhere in the harbourfront. There are many options like tiki taxi, harbour tours, pirate etc. Some stay open till 11:30 to bring you back. Also for some taxis, babies travel free. Now once you are in Center island, do not, I repeat do not miss the Pier. Walk straight and then turn left and go straight till you teach the pier. Once you are there, click tons of pics and you will see that the Lake looks like an ocean. Great place for all age groups except if you are old and have a leg problem. If you can lift your grandpa, then he too can breath a bit of fresh air and take a few pics before the candle blows on his life. Anyways, take a barbeque, a bikini set for the missus or the chick you are dating and a kayaking board. It’s worth it. Beach, Pier partryyy!!
