The Rio Pance is a phenomenal stretch of planet earth and this place takes it to the next level. Especially wonderful is the little hike that takes you to yet another pool and waterfall. We adored this place.

This ecoparque with its crystal clear water, elegant running paths through diverse vegetation, and little tiendas and places to eat is a perfect getaway when Cali is oppressively hot. Honestly, it's been one of the highlights of our time in Colombia. In fact, we hope to return again tomorrow and get some photos of this remarkable place.

Hesburgh Hospital Santo Domingo run by the Ecuadorian non-profit Saludesa is easily the best hospital in the region. They offer incredible care, with a full range of services. The doctors are professional and are up to date on the latest research in quality care. By 2017 they will also have an MRI. What is also important to note is that they are very inexpensive and do take social security patients.
This is unquestionably the better hospital in town for Ecuadorians or tourists who must utilize medical services.
