Be careful what you buy from the bakery. Recently bought a pack of 6 store made Calabrese buns and they went complete mold right at the expiry date. Usually takes way longer than this for mold to show. I am thinking they may have re-packed and re-labelled expired buns to avoid throwing them out. I have heard stores might start to implement tactics like this to reduce waste and keep costs down.
