When two of our group arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before our reservation, they discovered that the wait staff had already given our table away to another party. The confusion continued into receiving our orders, with the staff confidently handing dishes to the wrong people. The food was average at best, with one of the dishes having an unnecessary amount of added sugar. I'd recommend that you try Thai food elsewhere!
Great food and friendly service, as I have come to expect from this chain. I was pleased to learn that the Liverpool restaurant is just as nice as the Manchester one but, for a Saturday afternoon, was decidedly less busy! I always get the vada pav and it never disappoints. The smacked khakri is a more recent and equally tasty favourite.
I have lost count of how many times I've been to Moose — either this one or the York Street restaurant — but I will happily continue to visit and work my way through the extensive menu. As always, the restaurant was very busy on a weekend, and because we didn't book ahead (and this branch is situated on Piccadilly Approach with heavy footfall), we had a 45-minute wait, but it was worth it. Each time I come here, the food does not disappoint: varied menu options, filling brunch food, and generous portion sizes (to be expected from a North American chain). The drinks are delicious here, too. I particularly like their white chocolate mocha, although that isn't always available. On this visit, I ordered a firm favourite of mine for brunch: the Green Line, which I sometimes default to when the number of choices becomes overwhelming. My friend ordered the Lula Bacon and seemed very happy with her choice. I look forward to my next Moose visit!
