While visiting, I found that more than half of the venue was under construction, which was a bit disappointing. However, the accessible portions were quite fascinating. The exhibit provided a comprehensive journey through the history of aviation, starting from the Wright Brothers’ early airplanes and progressing to modern super-fast jets. The variety of unique exhibitions added to the intrigue, showcasing various aspects of aeronautical advancements. Additionally, there was an interesting section dedicated to the history of sports in the U.S., which was an unexpected but enjoyable inclusion.
This church, renowned as the largest in the country, is truly a sight to behold! Its vast interior is complemented by breathtaking art and design, with the tile artwork being a particular highlight. The church spans two levels, each offering its own unique perspective, so I highly recommend exploring both. For those interested, the cafe is open on weekends only. If you’re looking to take a piece of this experience home, the gift shop is open until 5 PM, though the church itself welcomes visitors until 6 PM. The sheer size and beauty of this place make it a must-visit destination.
The congress library was amazing. You should get your free tickets online before going. If you like to check the research room you can register for free online and get your card there. There are orange arrows guiding you to the registration room. The card will be valid for 2 years. The building was absolutely beautiful totally worth it.
Overall, the place was decent. However, on the rainy day we visited, there were only a few tables available in a limited space. Although we reserved our table in advance, it was situated right in front of the kitchen door, which was quite bothersome. Waitstaff frequently passed by, delivering food. Additionally, the dessert menu had limited options, and there were no non-alcoholic mocktails available.
We went for dinner and really loved it. There was a few lamb options which was great. We don’t see lamb a lot in other places. The staffs are very nice and patient. They have a variety of soft drinks dat you can not find at other places. We really loved the cucumber limeade. The price was also very reasonable. Totally recommend this place
