So I’m in the process of finding the right dog for me. I went to the shelter yesterday and met two amazing dogs. I intend to do a test drive this weekend with one of the two. The staff was helpful and nice. The guy that took the dogs out for me (I wish I’d gotten his name) was so nice and patient. He spoke with me about the different resources available in dc to help me with my dog like vet services, puppy training, etc. he was very knowledgeable about the dogs and I was confident in all he told me. I’m excited about my new potential dog. Can’t stop thinking about her.
