As a jaded tourist who has been to the Met, the Louvre, every Smithsonian Museum, the Getty, etc, I was sure this was going to be a fine regional art museum. I was wrong. It was AMAZING! They have an excellent collection of modern art, but an even more excellent collection of Canadian art displayed by era. A complete art history through a Canadian lens. And the special exhibits were well curated and especially informative. Thoughtful presenatation indigenous artists. Inspiring! Delightful!
