The atmosphere is top tier. It is an experience like no other. Whether you want to hang out for happy hour, order coffee, tea, food, or study, there's a place for you. This establishment is so evenly thought out and comfortable for the entire community. This is a new favorite for me. I was in Houston for the Thanksgiving holiday and needed to get some work done. This venue was perfect. The food was great, and the layout is well thought out and aesthetically pleasing, which made it easy to get my work done. The music was appropriate, and the volume was perfect. The plants were so fresh and authentic. I will visit this cafe in the future.
I'm a lifelong learner, so museums peak my interest. It was a really cool experience. It was very engaging and full of current and historic information. The clerk was not the friendliest, but she was tolerable. My nephew had a great time.
I have been a patron of LASM for more than 15 years. My kids have outgrown the museum, but I have plenty of family members with little ones, so I still patronize the museum. I love the art, exhibits, discovery play room, and the planetarium. The first Sunday of the month is free for the entire family. It is one of the best family-friendly activities in town for those who like to learn and play.
I had a great time visiting the museum and botanical gardens. I went two days in a row because there was so much to enjoy. If I had time, I would have gone on a third day. I get lost in the emotions evoked by art, and this experience was no different. I do wish there was a more thorough artist statement for more of the pieces.
The ushers were kind and the theater was comfortable. Bathrooms in venues like this are what help me decide the level of cleanliness. The theater and the bathroom was clean and didn't smell bad. I was pleased and comfortable as a result.

The show was phenomenal! I cried so many times because the actress, Chloé Johnson evoked emotion from Sally Bowles like no other. She made you want to call Sally and offer her a shoulder to cry on, a room to stay in, and a heart to rely on...I think Liza Minelli would be impressed. Did I mention that this Sally was a barrier-breaking beautiful African American Goddess? I'm sorry you missed it. It was worth every mile that I traveled to see it. If I had the chance, I would watch it a second time.
