We recently visited this place, which is quite popular for its South Indian food. While the food was decent, the overall experience was a bit disappointing because of some issues.
Even though we were walk-ins, they asked for our phone number, which didn’t really make sense to us. Then, instead of seating us at one of the empty tables, we were made to wait in another room. It felt more like a doctor's office than a restaurant! After that, someone came to take us to another spot, where we had to wait another 5 minutes.
The weirdest part was their rule that you need to finish your meal in 45 minutes, which felt really rushed and took away from the dining experience.
As for the food, the mini idlis were the highlight – really tasty! We also tried the dosa that was featured in the Toronto Star, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype.
Overall, I’d give it a 7/10. If their service wasn’t so frustrating, it could’ve easily been an 8.
