I am very disappointed in Triple A of Tennessee. So, I had to come up to Tennessee for work today. I’m from Alabama. So, when I got up here, I realized that lost my Debit card prior to leaving. I’m not sure if I dropped it or if it was stolen. So, I contacted Triple A thinking they would help me. I pay for the premium service. I call and make a request for some gas. I was anxious and was trying to figure out what to do. Obviously, I’m a woman alone in another state and not familiar with the area. After I called triple A, I’m looking for alerts on my phone texts, anything. I’m not receiving any text or anything. This is a bit nerve-racking, because when I’ve had to use triple A in the past, I’ve gotten regular alerts and knew what was going on. I wasn’t getting like that. So, I didn’t even know if I was in the system to have someone sent to me. Finally, after an hour, I get a voice recording message stating I was next on the query, and they were going to send someone out to me. An hour goes by and no one is sent out to me. I call and speak to somebody named Natalie and she tells me that they can’t send someone out to me, because they can’t give me enough gas for Alabama. I was aware they couldn’t give me that much gas. I was trying to find a solution. I was anxious then I realized there was a Regions 15 to 20 minutes up the road and all I needed was enough to get up there to get my card replaced. The gas that Triple A brings would have been more than suffice to get me that far from where I was located. However, I feel that even if I did want to try to use what little gas triple A brings premium members to try and get back to Alabama, that’s my business. Again, though, I was in a state that is not my own. I was anxious and I was trying to figure out what I needed to do. I received absolutely no help from Triple A today. I actually was able to find some change in my car that got me to Regions.When you’re stuck in your car for like two hours, you start doing some cleaning and looking for change while waiting. I finally was able to make it to the Regions, they replaced my car no problem. There was a gas station literally next to the Regions. I was able to fill my car up and take care of business, per normal. With that being said, I am extremely livid when it comes to Triple A. I even tried to call back and talk to a supervisor and complain, because obviously I was /am upset. I do not believe that I spoke to a manager because the woman was not helpful. She basically just said it was over and they couldn’t do anything now. Wow! I thought Triple A valued their customers, but apparently I was wrong. I wasn’t getting any alerts of any kind. I’m just sitting there wondering if they even know about me. Triple A of Alabama has always sent regular alerts, I never felt like I was by myself. They even have United call on their phone and let you know what they’re doing, where they are - so you know they’re working on getting to you.
This was an awful awful Experience! As a single female out of state, I just needed Triple A to work with me a little bit. I pay for premium service Of which includes gas if I request it. I’ve also been a premium member for years so I know how much gas I’m allotted. I just need to Triple A to do their part and bring me the gas and I would figure out everything from there! Thanks for nothing!
