Came here for the famous hokkien mee but the stall owner didn’t wanna sell us even though we got there at 9 something in the morning as he claimed he received orders more than he’d prepare for already. What a disappointment.

It’s hard to find parking here and I had to pay RM5 for the parking nearby even though it’s just a few mins walk. Quite disappointed since I couldn’t try the hokkien mee after all the hurdles.

We tried the curry mee and char kuey teow there instead. Curry mee was flavorful with the curry which’s just the right amount to it. Char kuey teow was a letdown to me as it’s tasteless to me.

The highlight of this place was the bakery stall that sells traditional Chinese bakery. The name of the stall is lau nai nai kochabi. Their crispy pork floss was so good that I just craved for more. It’s very crispy and flavorsome. The stall owner gave us samples to try first before we bought, and kept promoting his products. I instantly liked the cookies hence we bought white almond cookies and almond crispy cookies as well.

Their shokupan French toast was absolutely heaven! The sweetness was just to my liking though it might be a tad too sweet for other people. Love the vanilla ice cream compensating the sweetness of caramel sauce. The toast was crunchy at the edges and soft at the inside which made me crave for more!

Love the decor and atmosphere of this place. I was seated at the window and it felt comfortable if you wanted just all by yourself. The staff was attentive to customers and food was served pretty quick. Overall great food and customer service. Would love to come back to try other items on the menu!
