Great base for exploring Tidbinbilla, nearby Gibraltar Falls and the further-afield Namadgi National Park. A ranger comes by to check on campers, so make sure you have a legit booking.

Campground has toilets (incl. toilet paper), fire pits, communal covered BBQs, showers and wash-up areas.
Bring own firewood, kindling, etc.

It’s not the “prettiest” campground – the creek isn’t within view of your campsite, and you’re ensconced in a small valley with not much to look at except trees and other cars.
But the facilities are good, and the creek is just a short walk away when you fancy a dip in the cold water.

You can also tackle the 40-60min uphill slog to Gibraltar Falls, or get in your car and drive up to the falls (or other sites/walks, as we did).
