Roman Kovbasjuk

Nice bridge. We crossed it on a public holiday at around 19:00 in a nice weather, so it wasn't even crowded. It provides a nice view over the nearby parks,the lake, and the canal. The amount of "love locks" was surprisingly moderate - just about a hundred of them, which is about right for them not to look grotesque, as it happens when tourists overdo it and put thousands of locks on a single side of the bridge.

Great concert and ball venue. It's almost a century old, and that shows, but it's quite well kept.

A great art gallery with a lot of beautiful paintings and sculptures in the interior of Zwinger Palace.
Visiting off-season is good - no line to enter.

This beach is adjacent to Punta beach and offers the same service. It's likely just the same beach. It's well kept.
Compared to Punta beach, this one has much steeper decent into water, but otherwise, the sea bottom is sandy just several meters into the sea. There are no sea urchins here. Very busy during the day in the touristic season.

Nice little Greek tavern in the heart of Heraklion old town, with a lot of other restaurants nearby. Somehow it seemed pleasant enough for us to want to sit and have a lunch there.
The service was attentive and effective. The food and wine were good, even though portion sizes were rather small. Prices were reasonable for the location.
Raki and sweet cherries at the end were a pleasant surprise complimenting our visit.
