I'm actually really surprised by all the great reviews here - not that the food at Seven Moons is bad, per se; it just certainly isn't great. Thai is one of my all-time favorite cuisines and I've given this place a try maybe 3-4 times now but don't plan on returning, simply because there are far better options in the area and in CT in general.
The food looked good, but I found the Pad Si Ew to be lacking flavor/freshness, and some of the sauces and appetizers that I typically love were so salty or off-putting that I didn't even take more than one bite. The ones that I did eat were just fair.
The service has always been friendly, but the atmosphere is lacking. It's not a very cozy-feeling place and there has never been more than one or two other diners there when we've gone for dinner. One time, we were the only ones in the entire place. Maybe the majority of their clientele is take-out?
Anyway, again - it's not a BAD place. It just doesn't meet our standards for Thai food. Hope this helps!
