Sebastian Villages

Since the first day I moved in, they were slacking. When I went to move in they were not just late, they gave me their spare keys because, they didn't have the original set. Which means one of the previous residents was walking around with the keys to my apartment. So, I had to get the locks changed off gate. The rate I was paying for a 2 bedroom was $515 which didn't seem terrible for student living. But, for some reason every month after I moved in, my roommate and I had overages. They set a cap for utilities and it's pretty reasonable but, for us to go over EVERY month is ridiculous. It never seemed like utilities was free. We couldn't even do basic routines like use the dishwasher, wash cloths, or even use A/C throughout the day without going over. We went through 6 different managers throughout the year and they still don't have a clue about what is going on. You never know who to talk to when it comes to issues and since its ran by students 85% of the time, they don't always have answers. They advertise promotions like "Free TV's" or "$100 gift cards" for when you sign a lease with them. But, they take forever to give that to you. My roommate and I signed our lease the same day as one another and we were promised a $75 gift card and not only did they take 5 months to give it to us they also lowered the amount to $50. They don't notify you when you receive a package in their office or record all the packages that are received in their office. Someone sent me a surprise package and it was received on August 18th and I didn't find out about until the end of October. Absolutely Ridiculous!!!

Overall, Sebastian Village is irresponsible and has poor management and I really don't recommend anyone living here unless they have to and have no other options.
