After waiting in line for nearly an hour, we tried 3 different flavors of the brioche doughnuts and an alpine brew latte. The flavors change seasonally, but on this visit, they had London fog, yuzu custard, and raspberry cream available.
The London fog was the star of the show— we loved it. The yuzu was good and the raspberry cream was our least favorite. It was just alright. The Alpine brew latte was very well-made and I loved the earthy taste.
We lined up just after 11 AM on a Sunday and only one doughnut flavor was sold out when we got to the register. The shop was on its last 40 doughnuts when we were served and they went quickly.
Due to the long wait times, The Flour Box is not somewhere I would go regularly, but it’s worth another visit later in the year to try a different set of flavors. The shop is nicely decorated and staff is friendly. I’m not quite sure it’s worth the hype overall, but the doughnuts were good and it was nice to try something different.

A consistently good West Seattle staple. Staff is friendly and pastries are delicious. The line can be long on weekends, but it usually moves fairly quickly. Seating is limited so you may have to take your food to go during busy times.
I love the huge mix of sweet and savory options. Bakery Nouveau is a great option for breakfast or lunch.

Found some great quality staple pieces here at good prices. Nice shop!
Big museum with lots of amazing art. I enjoyed the contemporary art and sculptures. The chair exhibition was interesting to see and admire the handiwork. Nice to see a Dale Chihuly sculpture hanging near the entrance, too. Staff was friendly and admission was reasonably priced.
It was not crowded on the Friday we went so we were able to take our time and enjoy the museum.

I came here for a group dinner. The food was tasty and fresh, clearly farm-to-table. I ordered a limoncello spritz and the meatloaf. The meatloaf was flavored well and I enjoyed the chutney it was served with. The waitress told me it would be spicy, but I really didn’t think it was hot at all.
The fried chicken had good breading. The bread pudding for dessert was enjoyable as well. I didn’t enjoy the limoncello spritz as much as those I’ve had at other spots.
Overall, I enjoyed the meal. It wasn’t the most amazing food I’ve eaten, but I appreciate that it tasted fresh and was locally sourced.
