As someone in Sabah for the first time, I found this institution, housed in a uniquely shaped building, a very helpful place to learn about the art scene in Sabah despite its modest size. Moreover, there's a small store in the ground floor where you can buy goods made by Sabahan artists, such as postcards. But of course if you're interested in buying any of the art pieces for sale on display, you just go ahead and make an artist's day!
