I enjoyed it, despite the crowd, as it was literally full of people. The nicest place is the stairs, where people like to seat and watch the crowd moving behind just as if it were one single thing.
I was having a sandwich at the stairs, but suddenly the police started ordering people to leave the place. I image that it was because the stairs are also a way to the street in the back.
However, a sign saying “Please don’t seat on the stairs” would have been very useful (and less annoying, as most of us were just tourists).

Es un local relativamente chico, donde se puede generar un ambiente incómodo en caso de haber varios clientes.
De hecho, solo hay dos probadores, así que a veces hay que esperar. Lo bueno es que los probadores son grandes y cómodos, con espejos en varios lados, un asiento y perchas para colgar la ropa.
Los vendedores tienen un ambiente relativamente informal. A pesar de que tratan a los clientes de “usted”, cuando uno está en los probadores los escucha hablar de cualquier cosa, como si estuvieran solos.
Prefiero los Legacy de los shoppings, que son más grandes, pero este local del Centro sirve si uno está por ahí y necesita comprar algo.

Este museo es un buen homenaje a pintor Pedro Figari, una figura importante en la historia del arte de Uruguay.
Figari es conocido por su contribución al movimiento artístico conocido como "la Escuela de la Playa" o "la Escuela del Sur", que influyó en la pintura uruguaya y regional a principios del siglo XX.
Allí también se exponen obras de su hijo, Juan Carlos Figari, quien también se detacó en el ámbito artístico (aunque su obra no alcanzó la misma fama y notoriedad que la de su padre).
Como todo museo de arte, y en particular de pintura, creo que es un lugar que apreciarán especialmente los amantes del arte y los conocedores de las técnicas (que no es mi caso, por cierto).
La visita sirve, igualmente, para conocer el tipo de trabajos que hacía Figari, que a menudo representaban escenas de la vida cotidiana en Uruguay, incluyendo paisajes, retratos, y escenas de carnaval.
El museo en sí es muy prolijo y ordenado. Hay frases de Figari grabadas en las paredes que contribuyen a conocer un poco más lo que sentía y pensaba el pintor.
Por ejemplo, en una de ellas dice: "mi pintura no es una manera de hacer pintura, sino un modo de ver, de pensar, de sentir y sugerir".
Si andás cerca, te recomiendo visitarlo. Vale la pena.

It’s a small but comfortable theater located near Downtown and easily accessible from everywhere.
Its staff is extremely friendly and polite.
There’s a coffee shop right there, so you can have a nice coffee before or after the show.
The theater is not big, so there aren’t many seats available. Bear that in mind, as it’s probably better to buy the tickets online before going to the show (you can do so through the Tickantel app).

I’m not a religious person, but I loved going there. I must confess that I entered the temple because it was freezing outside and my mobile phone had turned off. So I said: ‘why not?’
They were offering a mass / service, and I decided to sit down and try to follow what the priest was saying. I don’t speak French, but I managed to sing as they were showing the lyrics on a big screen.
So I must say that it’s a nice and friendly place that’s definitely worth visiting.
