I visited this place with my colleagues after work. I didn't realise how big the area was when looking at it from the outside.
We went for go karting, bowling, and laser tag. This was my first proper go karting experience and I quite enjoyed it. The entire karting experience was organized quite professionally.
I am not a fan of bowling but this matched my previous experience.
The last time I was part of laser tag was in 2011 and I must say this was a much better experience. We get to see immediately if someone has hit us or if we have hit someone. I was unfortunately the worst player and had the lowest points but the experience was great.
I would definitely recommend this for pretty much all the activities we tried.

We visited the original MTR restaurant after wanting to have breakfast there for a very long time.
I had a Plain Dosa and then a Masala Dosa. My wife had a Rava Idli and then a Masala Dosa and a coffee.
The plain dosa and masala dosa were quite good. I have never been a fan of rava idli and the small portion I had from my wife's plate didn't change my opinion. My wife liked it quite a bit even though it wasn't the best she had ever had.
The service wasn't great. When we ordered a coffee, the server said he would take that after taking our food order. The coffee was brought once we finished all the items we ordered. And finally when we asked for the bill, he asked us to finish our coffee.
The food was a fair bit more expensive than we expected and didn't seem like value for money considering the quantity.
Overall, we are glad we visited MTR but it was a bit too expensive and the service not that great to warrant going again for breakfast.

I visited Pepper House last weekend as part of visiting the Biennale.
It was quite picturesque. The lawn was well maintained and I liked the view from the first floor towards the entrance.
It was quite hot and my sister, brother-in-law and their friends had tea, etc. Overall, it has a nice atmosphere.

We eventually went for lunch today. We had to wait for about 10 minutes before getting a table.
They only serve meals and seafood. We had fried clams, red snapper and squid. The food tasted excellent. I especially liked the fish and clams.
The price isn't cheap but it's not too expensive either. The service was pretty good. The food was served pretty quickly.
