After attending a wedding across the street at the courthouse, this place was a perfect stop to refuel and recharge. Our server, Michelle, seated us immediately, was super sweet, and extra accommodating. The coffee arrived almost immediately and was greatly appreciated!
We tried a couple of their starters. The bread service was great; and their fried tomatoes were crunchy, well seasoned, and one of our favorites.
We had several entrees as well. The double fried chicken was fantastic, and the greens that arrived on the side were so well made. Their chicken and french toast was very tasty as well. The short rib was delicious, and the risotto that it came with would be amazing on its own.
I would recommend this place to anyone. They have a very easy going atmosphere, the service is amazing, and the food was some of the best I’ve had in Sarasota.

We have been eating at The Golden Olive since they opened. The food here has been amazing since day one!
Their mains are always delicious. The falafel is one of the best, if not the best, in the city. Super crunchy with a delicious soft center. Their chicken is always moist and flavorful, the lamb is perfect every time, and the kofta is fantastic.
The hummus is also quite tasty. Their rice is phenomenal and the veggies are always fresh. My husband especially likes their pillowy pitas.
We live across the country now, but I don’t miss the opportunity to have lunch at The Golden Olive when we make it to Seattle for a visit.

We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at The Lobster House. They have delicious Dominican coffee and mimosas. Their Dominican breakfast was my absolute favorite. The hostess Karen was always welcoming and our servers Elizabeth and Dionosio went out of their way to make our meals perfect. The view at this restaurant is superb as well. We enjoyed everything about The Lobster House.
A wonderful coffee & ice cream shop on the property. It’s beautiful and they make all kinds of coffee and coffee cocktails almost all day. The decor is gorgeous and everyone working here is so sweet and provide excellent service. Don’t miss this place during your stay, such a wonderful little shop!
Beautiful little walk through the woods. We walked around here just after it snowed the night before and it was lovely. Super quiet, there was no one there in the middle of the week. They have the cutest little handmade bridges and you can sit by the creek and watch the water. It’s super serene and I’m sure a lovely place to camp at the campsite. Highly recommended if you want to get away from people for the afternoon.
