The setting and atmosphere of this beach restaurant are amazing: nothing beats having dinner with friends watching the sun setting over the Mediterranean Sea and listening to the waves gently breaking in the background...
Of course, it helps if the food is excellent and the service is second to none and happily this is the case at Castel Plage.
We started with seabream ceviche and tuna tatare. The ceviche was tangy and had the perfect texture, and the tuna was very flavoursome. For main courses, we had grilled sea bass and octopus fricassé. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, juicy and firm, and the octopus fricassé was delicious.
Our server was attentive and friendly and looked after us very well.
