The people at Salvation Army are awesome from the staff to volunteers they have been helping this community for over 15yrs if I'm not mistaken. Services they provide a food bank (must call to arrange appointment and live in area) from what I remember they had bread donations every Friday from local bakery. (call first) They have after school programs and have people whom speak Spanish there.
This is also a church a place of worship the community is fortunate to have The Salvation Army located in a very good spot. FYI their building was part of the community swimming pool where the locals used to change into swim suits back in the day. it was awesome! !
