Phoenix Bike's youth program, the Earn-a-Bike program, provides an exceptional educational experience. My son participated in the program, learning bike mechanic skills that he will remember forever. In this program at Phoenix, he created a bike from used parts and with the help of the Phoenix Bike's most amazing bike mechanic mentors. Once he completed the bike, Phoenix gives it to a community member in need and then they allow him to build a bike for himself. Phoenix and its staff of mechanic mentors (both paid and the volunteers) who helped him gain these skills are simply wonderful.
