I scheduled an appointment with the doctor and, coincidentally, they contacted me to confirm my daughter's one-year check-up the day before. I checked in my child and proceeded to the adult section to inquire about some information. There was only one person ahead of me in line, and I waited patiently for 20 minutes while the assistant and patient engaged in an unrelated conversation. A person behind me became agitated due to the prolonged wait and had to raise her voice to get attention. Notably, it was my turn next, but the assistant neglected to ask me the purpose of my visit. Instead, she disregarded me and attended to the person who was yelling. I chose to leave without being seen and canceled my appointment for the following day. Ironically, when I brought my daughter in for her scheduled appointment, they informed me that it was unnecessary, despite numerous confirmation calls throughout the week. I found this experience to be highly unprofessional. Having been a patient at this facility for years, I have noticed a significant decline in the level of respect and courtesy displayed by the staff in the adult section. In contrast, the pediatric section, although sometimes experiencing delays, has consistently provided a positive experience, thanks to my daughter's doctor and the assistants.
