I can't believe it. I was told by an employee at Cotson Park that I cannot fly a kite in the park. In my disbelief, I asked him 'why not'. He said, in case I lose control of the kite, it might strike someone in the head. Meanwhile, there was a soccer match about to begin on the field at the park. I retort, "So I can't fly a kite because you think it might strike a kid in the head as opposed to a soccer ball going 80 mph. I've got to get out of Florida. Maybe out of the United States. Furthermore, I just found out that the park offers an after school " Play Boxing" program? So, it's ok with the Park that kids intentionally hit other kids in the head, but someone can't fly a kite in their park out of concern and safety for the kids that visit their park. 🤔🤔🧐Someone please make it make sense.🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️.
