You DO NOT control your OWN money with State Dept FCU this bank is absolutely terrible they control which purchases get declined or not. When I go out of town my card declines for no reason, even around my neighborhood it declines my purchases at 7eleven (has anyone else experienced this?)
For ZELLE if you try to send to a new recipient it places your zelle on hold where you cant send any money!! Oh and then you have to call and speak to a special agent over hours customer service cant remove the hold I just now has been waiting for 50min for a person to answer!
I have been slacking on switching bank JUST beca of the hassle of having to switch my direct deposit with my employer but im SWITCHING banks soon such a TERRIBLE bank
