Opened a tab and left my ID and credit card with the bartender. I walked out to grab a smoke but the event had just finished and I wasn’t allowed back in. On my way home my tab was charged to my credit card and I thought, no problem I’ll stop tomorrow after work. Unable to get a hold of anyone by home I stopped by the next day and was told no one was in the office and won’t be there for another hour. I left my name and let them know I had left my ID and credit card the night before. I was not able to wait as I was still working. I did not receive a call back.

I stopped by couple of days later and spoke with one of the managers. She went on to look but she could not locate my documents. I was told she did not know where to look and that the manager Shaz would call me back when he got in at around 7:30pm. No call was received.

Today I finally received a call after reaching out and leaving voicemails. Left on hold for 15min before being let known that now the bar manager would call me.

Received a call from the bar manager who claimed he was not responsible for my lost documents since now it was been days after the incident. He insinuated I had lost my documents at the bar. I explained that is not possible since my card and paper trail will indicate the charge had happened well after the event was over. I had provided my last 4 digits of my card so they knew for a fact that was the case as per their receipt records. Still, he claimed they’re not responsible simply because of the time frame.

Unacceptable. Management is not in the office at the appropriate hours. There is no one to promptly answers phone calls in cases like this. I debunked all the bar manager points and yet simply played dumb after the fact. You either need better training for your employees or new managers who know what they’re doing. Nothing more frustrating and agreeing to points made and saying ‘nope’ at the end just to be smug.

Do not trust this establishment with your documents. Pay cash or avoid it all together. If the response to my review is still ‘well, time frame haha.’ You’ve lost me as a customer all together; been coming here for years. If you’d really like to have a conducive discussion, put me in contact with a logical person.
