My wife and I visited the amazing green city Vilnius in November this year and we were charmed by the Orthodox Cathedral of the Theotokos, a beautiful and historic church near the Uzupis area. This church is one of the oldest and most important Orthodox churches in Lithuania, dating back to 1346 when it was built by Kievan architects for the Grand Duke Algirdas and his second wife Uliana of Tver. The church has a unique architecture and design, combining Gothic, Baroque and Byzantine elements. The church was the mother church of the Ruthenian Orthodox Church and the Ruthenian Uniate Church until 1795, when it was destroyed by the Russian army. It was rebuilt and restored to its original glory in 1998. The church is very peaceful and serene in November, with a magical atmosphere. We enjoyed admiring the impressive dome and bell tower outside. We learned something new about the history and culture of Lithuania from this church, which is a symbol of its religious diversity and tolerance. A very greatest place.
Outwardly, this orthodox Christian church looks beautiful and somewhat grandiose. It was already dark when we got there and we couldn't see the church inside. I looked at its history. Sadly, It was built by imperial subjects during the reign of the russian invaders, the russian emperor. Now this land is free.
Magnificent, incomparable, beautiful, majestic and very highest quality creation of human hands in this eternal city. This splendor was built in the first half of the 17th century by the legendary Pietro Bernini, who was probably helped by his capable and gifted son Gian Lorenzo.
During our visit of eternal brilliant city Rome, incomparable Vatican City, Vatican Museums, we saw those two beautiful and unique fountains at Piazza. And the right one is outstanding Maderno Fountain in that Piazza San Pietro. It's one of the most beautiful fountains in the city, and it's easy to see why. It was commissioned by Pope Paul V in 1612 and was completed by Carlo Maderno in 1614. It's made up of a central basin with two large sculptures of river gods, one representing the Tiber and the other representing the Nile. The sculptures are surrounded by cascading water, and they're topped by a central obelisk.
The Maderno Fountain is a truly must-see for any visitor to Rome in my opinion. We were particularly impressed by the way the fountain reflects the beauty of the surrounding architecture, including St. Peter's Basilica. It's a truly magical place to spend some time, and we highly recommend it.

The Vatican City is incomparable and unique on our whole planet. For this place, you need to set aside at least one full day and it will be more interesting if you join a group with a guide, which will also allow you to skip the long wait in line. This is the kind of service that this company offers. There are quite a lot of customers and it was crowded in June. Everything was good except for the most important thing. It's about the guide. If you listened carefully, you could notice something very disagreeable - she mixed poltical things in her stories about the Vatican that were not good and not acceptable to me.
