As we continued our bike journey to the east from Cobourg Marina, we stumbled upon Victoria Park, a picturesque and well-maintained beachfront destination. The beach itself was a sight to behold, immaculately clean and inviting.
Within the vicinity, I noticed the presence of well-kept washroom facilities and a convenient water refill station, which is always a welcome sight for travelers. For families with young children, Victoria Park provides a delightful playground and a water park, ensuring endless fun and entertainment. The park boasts numerous seating areas, and I couldn't help but notice families happily relaxing on the sandy shores right by the water's edge.
It's worth noting that some sections of the park restrict bicycle riding, so if you're an avid rider, be sure to pay attention to the posted signs and regulations.

Cobourg Beach, situated along the open beachfront between Victoria Park and Lake Ontario, offers a pristine and spacious environment. It's an ideal spot for intimate family gatherings, leisurely strolls in the sand, or allowing the kids to engage in some sandcastle construction.
Paid parking is conveniently available, and during our visit, the beach was pleasantly uncrowded. Notably, there's a mat that stretches from the walkway near the water's edge, presumably to prevent sand from infiltrating your footwear.
If the need arises for restroom facilities, you can easily access them at Victoria Park, which you'll pass through en route to the beachfront.

I take pleasure in my leisurely strolls at Beachfront Park, a charming destination accessible through two routes: one involves driving south on Liverpool Road until its conclusion, while the other entails parking at the end of Sandy Beach Road and making your way through Alex Robertson Park. This enchanting beachfront area offers a serene path that runs alongside the water, with convenient picnic benches for resting, a playground, and a waterpark to keep the little ones entertained. For your convenience, restrooms are available on the east side, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Please keep in mind that if you are not a Pickering resident, there is a paid parking option. Furthermore, if you're a cyclist, be aware that the boardwalk has not been repaired. As a result, when you continue along the waterfront trail, you'll need to dismount and walk your bike through a mixture of rocks and sand from one end to the other.

We decided to pay a long-overdue visit to this sushi joint, and we were pleasantly surprised by the changes since our last stop. Notably, they had expanded their menu to cater to non-seafood eaters like me, which was a pleasant surprise given my newfound appreciation for sushi. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the restaurant had a welcoming and impeccably clean atmosphere. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option, and our orders arrived promptly. However, one minor hiccup was that the portions seemed larger, making it a bit tricky to gracefully devour a sushi roll in a single bite without it falling apart. Taste-wise, the sushi was on point. While it may not surpass our all-time favorite sushi spot, we left content with our decision to give this place another shot and plan on returning.

We were thrilled to learn that Pacific Mall had successfully recovered and resumed its operations after the fire in July 2021. Our initial purpose for the visit was to stop by Auto Parts & Beyond to purchase replacement bulbs for my car. However, as we strolled around, we unexpectedly encountered some incredible deals and discovered new shops that I'm already looking forward to revisiting in the future. If you find yourself in the area, I strongly suggest paying a visit to Pacific Mall, it's certainly worth the trip.
