It's been a while since I've been to the Toronto zoo and I probably won't return. It is a lovely place but was far better when I was a kid.
The difference in crowds was shocking. It was impossible to move an inch without being walked into or pushed around. Our country has taken in a lot of new people and our population is growing very quickly. The zoos layout inside the indoor spaces is unfortunately far too tight to get through and actually be able to see anything with the amount of people flooding in. In my opinion, the zoo is still great and I recommend anyone if you haven't been, to go and experience it for yourself but it was a better place for me when I was a kid.
