It is a deviation to give this place a 4 for atmosphere. As someone who hates live music in constrained places, the live band playing here is the reason for the 4. Live music drowns out normal conversations at the table.
Apart from that, everything about Tamarind was great.
Service was phenomenal, food was superbly presented in unique manners, taste buds were tickled with the spices and texture of the food, and the bar menu for mocktails and cocktails was delightfully named after Indian names.
What really stood out was the food presentation. From pani puri shots presented on a smoking hand cart, to palak kebabs on a boat and more, every diah came served with panache.
The taste was on a different level with finger licking lingering tastes.
The lighting at the restaurant could be better. Though the single LED lamps they place on each table provide decent lighting, it is not enough for a large table.
Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine served on style.

A great walking trail at this place. Following the 16 mile Creek.
Though the mosquitoes may keep you from enjoying your walk. Especially towards late evening.
The trail itself is not too tough. There are portions where the steep incline and drop may slow you down.
The direction signs in this trail could be better. We had the All Trails map and could easily navigate the trail.
Becuase a large part of the trail is near homes and streets, even if one got lost one could come out on the street and find one's way around.
Good for a workout. And, if you are a "step watcher" you can easily achieve your goal by walking the 6 km loop.

This is the second Papa John's store of this chain we are visiting. The same cleanliness, brand integrity in design and looks.
And the kids, at both locations, dishing out gr8 service with courtesy and smile.
Tried the new spicy pepperoni rolls. Great introduction to the menu. Even though it says "limited time" hope it is a fixture on the menu.
Overall great food with gr8 taste and excellent service

The City of Mississauga is fortunate to have some excellent green spaces on the midst of a growing concrete jungle.
The Culham Trail is one such that stretches for several kilometers. We walked a small part of that wonderful trail just behind the Rivergrove Community Centre.
Abutting the flowing Credit River the serenity offered by the place is something out of this world. The well paved path, interspersed by gravel, surrounded by green is a haven not to be missed.
Peace of mind and distressing from a hectic week, a walk here is highly recommended

Renowned novelist Jane Austen once said, "I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library". She would be the happiest if alive today and in Mississauga. Undoubtedly one of the best library systems in the world in the City of Mississauga, the Central Library is the crown of them all.
Spread over 5 floors (including the children section at basement level) this sprawling library is definitely a refuge for an avid reader. I had made full use of the faculties the Central Library offered when I first landed in Canada in 2005. This past weekend, after a gap of many years, I had once again the opportunity to visit the Central Library to pick up books that i had put on hold.
I was in awe with the way nothing much had changed in the intervening years. The library continues to be the hub for students to do group studies. For newcomers to Canada to look for illuminating information and up to speed with their English. For entrepreneurs and would be entrepreneurs to use the knowledge and wisdom of business centre. Whether it is for reading, borrowing, referencing the Library has a wonderful selection of books, newspapers, magazine, periodicals, movies, DVDs and more.
What is more it is maintained very efficiently by a team that is not only very friendly but very passionate about their job. The shelves are neat the aisles clean, the atmosphere serene (except in the kids section) and reaching for any book is a very easy affair.
If I had all the time in the world the one place I would spend it in would be the Central Library. I hope the City continues to fund it well to maintain the high standards. And the staff keep the same passion to ensure this is something Jane Austen would have loved to be part of.
