I visited the tiny beach today at high tide and there is no place at all to walk. No benches to sit on. The view is nice for bird watching, but all the nice beach areas here are all private property.
At low tide I was able to gain better access to the beach and on Saturday, November 11 the sound was filled with sailboats in an afteroon race of some sort.

Minus an ample supply of Mosquitos and Deer flies, this is the most awesome easy access campground in the region!
talk about camping under the stars this is it!
Well worth the long drive up!
