Outstanding selection of healthy plants. But lets be clear. This is a working nursery/farm. NOT an orange/blue box store or retail nursery. It is geared to landscape professionals but also sells retail. Do not expect a typical retail interface. IF you need lots of hand holding, this is not the place for you. If you love plants and love to pick out very specific varieties, Colesville nursery is for you. And they have excellent prices, too!
I spoke with three different employees and all three were friendly and helpful. Great people work here.
When you arrive you MUST pickup a clipboard that includes an order sheet and a map of the nursery. This nursery covers many acres. You drive around to the plant location where your plants you want are located. You select your plant, write down the plant information on your clipboard, and put the plant in your vehicle. A car will work, but a pickup truck, van or SUV would be better. Depends on how large and how many plants you intend to buy. Drive back to the office/store and walk in with your clipboard and order sheet. Leave your plants in the vehicle.
Some tips.
1. Download the list of available plants from their website to your cell phone. It will tell you the name, size, location and price of the plants. The plant location is CRITICAL to finding the plants you want. Trust me, you don't want to walk around through all the green houses and other locations looking for your plants. KNOW THE PLANT LOCATION.
2. Do your homework. Arrive with a list of the plants you want to purchase. Select backups in case they have sold out of your first choice. Know what size you want/need. Plants are often located in different areas based on plant size.
3. Be prepared to get dirty/dusty. Be prepared to load your own plants. But they will try to find someone to assist if you need it. Remember, this is a working nursery/farm; not a retail store. Consider bringing small trash bags or tubs (I used small cement mixing tubs) to contain dirt and water from the containers.
4. Have fun hunting for your plants! Signage and directions are not the best. I drove around quite a bit trying to find the correct location for one of my plants.
Incredible selection of healthy annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees. Considering the tens of thousands of plants, I was impressed that almost every plant was health and in good shape. Plants are well taken care of. I was told most of their plants are grown there or on their farm. Some are brought in from other growers, but most are grown at this family run nursery.
And they have a great selection of large ceramic planters in all shapes and sizes. A little pricey but probably cheaper than most places. I think I am going back for a couple after discussing with the boss. ;-) Fertilizer and soil amendment selection was very good and reasonably priced.

Top notch restaurant with outstanding food and beautiful interior. The attention to detail is remarkable. Service was excellent. High quality food. One of the best steaks I've ever had. The green chile onion rings were a delicious unique treat.
Unless I missed it, there is no elevator access for the handicapped. Steep outside stairs. (I tripped and fell climbing stairs in wet weather.)
