😋🥙

I've always wanted to try their dishes, but somehow Desi Dhaba fell through the cracks, till yesterday, when I finally ordered something, and I was quite happy with my food. I didn't have anything for dinner so I decided to order from this place via DoorDash.

🤤🔥

I ordered a Dum Chicken Biryani ($20.90) and an Onion And Green Chilli Salad ($4.50). There was an ongoing offer, so my overall bill was $20.28, all inclusive. Carefully handed to me by the dasher, I couldn't wait to get to my room and dig in. The quantity was good, something I focus on more these days, and even though the chicken pieces were medium-sized, there were enough. The rice was excellent, full of flavours, mildly spicy, and the raita with carrots was a welcome addition. The salad with onions and not-hot green chillies was dressed with some ground spices and I squeezed some lemon that cane with it. It tasted great with the biryani. Overall, a simple, but satisfying dish, and I'd go back for more.

👌🏽💯

Irrespective of the ratings, I was pretty happy with my food, and if I'm around the restaurant, I'm going to pop in. They've a an exciting menu, and I eagerly look forward to trying their other dishes!

Pretty good food is what I'd say about this restaurant. Despite its quirky name, I believe the restaurant does live up to its name fromy experience. Uber Eats has a lot of Indian restaurant's, and this one used to come up quite often, so I gave in and ended up ordering a staple cuisine that I've ordered from similar other restaurants before, to see how it compared to others.

😃🥚

I ordered a Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani ($20.99) and a Chilli Egg ($2.99) as a side dish. The biryani was all right, well made and with the curd raita and peanut dip, it was very satisfying. It was cooked just as a Hyderabadi dum biryani would be cooked like.

The chilli egg was a hard-boiled egg which was coated with chilli powder outside. That's it. I felt stupid ordering it, should've made my own. Nonetheless, the food was pretty decent, so overall it was a good experience.

👍🏼🍗

The biryani was mild, and the egg had mirchi (chilli) on it, so the restaurant has totally justified its name in that sense. The price seemed ok, do no issues with that. Thr quantity was also fine by me, and made for a good meal. I might try out their other dishes as well!

This was my first ever escape room, and oh boy did I enjoy it immensely. There are 3 games to choose from, and my group got the After Midnight one, which was of medium difficulty and scariness. The design of the room and the puzzles was top notch. The puzzles really forced us to think outside the box and find the clues hidden among the objects in the room to unlock the door to the next room. We took a little over an hour, party confounded by the timer in our game stopping at 54:59, which wasn't a big deal.

The second room took the longest time, and was so satisfying. The third room was very well designed as well. The story in our game was to get to the bottom of a murdered actress, and we did reach the bottom of it all.

Completing the game was indeed satisfying. The staff were friendly, and there's also a cute dog who loves the guests! Since no cell phones were allowed inside the rooms, there's nothing to show, which is actually good, because these rooms need to be experienced without any ideas beforehand.

We went in a group, and each group had about 7 members, which is kinda necessary given the scope of the tasks.

Overall, it's a fun way to spend time with friends while exercising the brain!

DoorDash is running a generous offer in which 40% discount is given for local restaurants when purchase above $25 is made. To avail this offer, I ordered a plate of Mutton Biryani ($17.90) and a plate of Fish Tikka ($18.90). Although it took a while for the order to be delivered, the food was worth it.

😋🔥

The fish tikka was soft and succulent, and paired with the mint chutney was absolutely delicious. As for the biryani, it too was excellent, with a generous serving of tice and chunky mutton pieces, some of which were bones, something that I don't prefer. Nonetheless, it paired well with the raita and made for a fulfilling meal.

Looking forward to visiting in person!

The Chilli Paneer Biryani ($22.42) ordered via Uber Eats was quite good. Delicious rice and delicious paneer chunks that were buried deep. Only if the paneer hd been mixed more properly instead of me trying to dig those up. The paneer pieces were fine, the spices pretty mid. I'd still like to visit this place and try their other dishes.
