We took a delightful break from the Camino on Rua Pescaderia to indulge in a seafood feast at Bar Cocedero La Piedra. Fresh oysters kicked off the celebration, their briny perfection a perfect start. The sardines were flawless - unbelievably fresh and perfectly cooked. Mussels, though a bit on the small side, didn't disappoint with their flavor. But the star of the show were the chiparrones, baby squid so addictive we couldn't stop reaching for more.

Recently, I had the opportunity to host some guests from Brazil at Pappadeaux, and I wanted to make sure that they had a superb dining experience.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us at a table in the main dining room. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with dark wood accents and dim lighting. Our server introduced himself and quickly took our drink orders.All of the dishes were cooked to perfection and were incredibly flavorful.
For our main lunch course, we ordered the fried shrimp and the shrimp po boy platters. The fried shrimp were perfectly cooked, with a light and crispy batter. The shrimp po boy sandwiches were also delicious, with fresh shrimp piled high on toasted French bread.
