Beautiful and set in a great location! We walked here from Stop 6 of the Hop On, Hop Off and it was so worth it. The monument has small dandelions and other flowers right in front of it. The monument is also located very close to the entrance of the grounds making it conveniently located and hard to miss.

There's a food truck parked between the entrance and the monument if you're interested in picking up a snack or buying a drink. There are also several park benches in the area where you can stop and smell the flowers

There are two fountains across from each other towards the entrance of the square, this is the one to the right. From Google Photos they look pretty similar. They're beautiful, we saw the fountain earlier in the day and closer to sunset. It was absolutely beautiful. We left around 11 am the first time that we were there, the lighting was already harsh, it was pretty hot, and the crowds were getting to be too much.

This was a lot more enjoyable in the late afternoon. We were able to sit by the fountain and eat some snacks, relax in it's shadow, and not be bothered. There were plenty of other people trying to take photos on the other side of the fountain, and they really took their time because the crowds had died down by a lot.

One of the most amazing things about Rome is how close everything is to each other. You can literally walk a short distance from one monument to the other. There are a few of these Obeliscos throughout the city, each similar but with their own character and different surroundings. We saw this one in the early morning, there weren't that many people and I'm sure other nearby monuments draw the crowds away from here. These make for great landmarks to meet up if you're traveling in a group, you'd be easy to find and the crowd wouldn't be bad. This one is great, the location is open, our daughter had a fun time walking around here and exploring. We didn't enter, or buy tickets, we just hung out outside.

Great park close to lots of shops and restaurants. My favorite part is that it's fenced in and it has plenty of space to run around, not just playground equipment. There are benches peppered throughout and a few picnic tables towards the entrance. There's a good amount of space to be in either the sun or the shade depending on what you prefer. There's a toddler section, some swings, a big kid section, a work out section, and a field. It's incredibly clean. I didn't see one piece of trash anywhere. There were plenty of people, kids of all ages and it felt very safe. Everyone was very polite, the kids took turns and the moms were attentive

Overpriced, but what stand in an amusement park isn't? That's part of the package, you know? It is a great spot to stop and get snacks or a drink. There's barely any wait because so many people in the area were looking for a full lunch or just alcoholic drinks at the time. The rain also helped the line, but honestly, any time we walked by, it wasn't a crazy like and they're so fast it goes by faster than you'd think.
