The 1st rider who attempted to deliver my parcel was very rude. He said he called my number many times, and blamed me for having wasted his time. But actually, I didn't receive any text messages or calls from him earlier than 9:41am yesterday. I showed my messages and call record to our guard; he can attest that I'm telling the truth. The rider also insisted that he left the parcel to our guard when in fact, there was none! He didn't think there are different factors that could affect tele-communication; one could be poor telecom connectivity.
I think it'll be better that Shopee Banilad Hub management reorient their personnel about this matter. Please tell your riders, if you can't reach your customers, don't judge them right way. Not all people are gruesomely evil as what that rider thought I was; he mentioned his personal problems in his text messages and blamed me which is awfully unprofessional.
Poor telecom networks in certain areas can impair communication process. Riders should know about this. And if you can't contact your customers, talk to the guard. Most guard's house have an intercom (like here in our building). They can call us ASAP. Don't let your brain sleep; use it.
