After hearing so many amazing reviews of plaza athenee and the customer service in all aspects of the hotel, i am so turned off and let down by my experience that i will never return or pay a cent here until it changes and it’s evident in improved reviews.
You cannot be racist and discriminative when your owner is of asian descent.. they pay your bills, so if asian people come to enjoy plaza athenee, give them the same respect and service you do to your “race”. This place isn’t refined like it used to be. Cheaply dressed women strutting around, being let in the bar and salon area, whilst people of colour are denied and shoved to sit out far on the sides when there is PLENTY of room in the middle area.

The service here is just DOG poor. I assume the tall gentleman is the owner and his attitude is not satisfactory. I’ve visited twice to give it another chance AND pick up order and every encounter has been really atrocious. They don’t have any basics of customer service and when he passes you your meal to pick up he will practically throw it at you.
Don’t support places like this when there are so many pleasant restaurants who have the basic customer service. Luckily there is a persian restaurant opening next door. don’t waste your time, money and energy coming here. They need a real internal makeover if they want to survive their place as a restaurant on blandford.
